What We Did In France – Musee du Mur
March 31st, 2011 by
On our final day we were lucky enough to see an amazing WWII bunker which still stands today! When we entered there were alot of medals and guns there. When we went down to the basement we saw a generator when generates all the electricity around the bunker so they can see. Right next to the generator was a weaponry room. Inside we saw frag grenades and semi-automatic guns too! When we went outside we saw a massive gun which could fire 87km! This could reach from France to England! The fastest way to move it was by train though. When we carried on walking there were some huge rusty spikes. These spikes go on the beach, it stops big boats getting on shore and you will need a tiny boat to land on shore. As we was leaving we saw lots of bombs but all the gun powder was taken out. When we got on the coach, I think everyone thought it was a great experience.
