    March 31st, 2011 by

    For some I go fast

    For others I’m slow.

To most people, I’m an obsession

Relying on me is a well-practiced lesson.

    What am I?

A blue house is made of blue bricks. A yellow house is made
of yellow bricks. A red house is made of red bricks. An orange house is made of
orange bricks. What would a green -house be made of?

Which triangle has a bigger area: 1. A triangle with sides measuring 300, 400, and 500.2. A triangle with sides measuring 300, 400, and 700???

What we did while some people were in France

    March 31st, 2011 by

On  monday  the  21st  of  march whilst  some people  were in France, the rest of the class joined with year 5 and we did some work about volcanoes.

First,we had to do alot of research and we found out that there are 3 different volcanoes in the world: shield, cone and strato.

Then we got to make our own volcanoes out of paper balls.

Finally, in the afternoon we got to take our volcanoes outside and we let them erupt using red food colouring, vinegar and bicarbornate of soda.

Overall, we had a exciting day and we learnt a lot about volcanoes!

    March 31st, 2011 by

The people who didn’t go France made eruptive volcanoes which was fantastic. The way the volcanoes erupted was amazing, you put bicarbonate soda. Then pour a drop of red food colouring for the lava colour, when you done that, put a small cup of vinegar to make the volcanoes erupt!
